Program: Swift Enterprises - Alternative Fuels for the 100LL

You have probably noticed all the press that Swift Fuel has received over the last couple of weeks concerning their very successful alternate fuel tests in a Pratt & Whitney R-2800 radial engine.  If alternative fuels have left you feeling like you really don't have a grip on the concept, don't feel like you're standing out in that field by yourself.  Luckily for all of us, two of Swift Enterprises top research people have agreed to do a program on the 100SF fuel that they are developing.  This should be a very informative presentation that will help with understanding exactly what it is that we will be burning in our engines relatively soon.

Brian Stirm, Director of Propulsion Research and Jon Ziulkowski, VP - Renewable Fuels, will be leading the program from their headquarters in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Due to the distance, and the fact that we would probably have poor turnout if we did the meeting out there, we are going to be doing a live web broadcast which will be a first for the chapter.
