Solo! Bradley Wells
The Scholarship Committee is extremely pleased to announce that Bradley Wells solo'd on Friday afternoon 9/20. (His sixteenth birthday!) His mother and instructor, Stephanie Wells, turned the keys over to him late in the afternoon and he proceeded to make two very nice take-offs and landings. This was done with the added pressure of having several of chapter 43's members watching. They happened to be at the Erie airport doing setup work for the Erie Open House.
Congratulations Bradley, we will be lookinig forward to hearing about your check ride in the near future.

Snow Buster
Congratulations to Tom Tomlin for an exceptional job with the Snow Buster coordination. It came off without a hitch and from all of the hangar flying that was going on everyone was thoroughly enjoying the event. The inside location at the hangar normally occupied by Davenport, Newman, Serani, Ratsch and Lee was an ideal site.
And the big plus: Despite the bad weather the donation jar looked like it was about half full.
Thanks Tom!!
